What is First English?  

First English 이란 무엇입니까?

First English is a unique 1 year program specially designed for young elementary school students who have little to no experience learning English.  The program starts with the very basics (the alphabet, phonics, etc.) and will develop all four areas of your child’s English language skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing).

First English is a place where students learn high quality English in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment.  Class sizes are small (only 4 students per class), so each student receives lots of personal attention along with many opportunities to speak.  After 1 year, you can be assured that your child will have acquired a strong foundation to build on as he/she continues to learn English in the future.  The goal of First English is to get your child’s English ability to the point where people actually wonder if he/she might have lived abroad.

First English는 영어를 배운 경험이 거의 없는 저학년 초등학생들을 위해 특별히 고안된 1 년 프로그램입니다.  이 프로그램은 매우 기초적인 것(알파벳, 파닉스 등)에서 시작하여 자녀의 영어 실력 (말하기, 듣기, 읽기, 쓰기)의 네가지 영역 모두를 발전시킬 것입니다.

First English는 학생들이 즐겁고 안전하고 건강한 환경에서 고품질의 영어를 배우는 곳입니다.  학급 규모가 작기 때문에 (한 반에 4 명의 학생 만), 각 학생은 개별적으로 관심을 받을 수 있고 이야기 할 기회가 많아집니다.  1 년 후 아이는 계속적인 영어학습의 기초를 다질 수 있는 기회를 얻게될 것입니다.  First English의 목표는 아이의 영어실력을 해외에서 살았던 것처럼 능숙하고 자연스러워지게 하는 것입니다.

​What First English is NOT.  

First English 는 다릅니다.​

First English is NOT the following:

• It is not a place to send your kid for a few hours so you can rest.

• It is not a competitive or stressful place.

• It is not an English hagwon.

First English는 다음과 같은 곳이 아닙니다:

• 단순히 아이를 맡겨 시간을 보내는 곳이 아닙니다.

• 경쟁이 치열하거나 스트레스가 많은 곳이 아닙니다.

• 영어 학원이 아닙니다.
